Gabrielle-Sidonie Colette\u2019s career began helping her first husband Henry Gauthier-Villar in writing a few novels. Once divorced, she went on signing her novels with her own name. During the First World War (1914-1918) she intensified her activity as journalist and developed a new interest for cinematography, she wrote articles of film criticism and screenplays. In 1919 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mitsou <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was published.
